No, Really, It's 3d!

"If I were to learn a 3D modelling application, it would probably be Pixologic’s ZBrush because it markets itself as a sculpting program — shapes are carved, pushed, pulled, stretched, moulded, as if working with clay instead of numbers and math and polygons. It’s like the Painter of the 3D world.

ArtDorks posted a link to an impressive gallery of ZBrush creations the other day, one of which was this great 3D model of Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s Monster by Rick Baker… yes, that Rick Baker, the Hollywood makeup effects wizard.

ZBrush has a number of artist interviews on the site, including Rick Baker (and the previously-blogged Hiroshi Yoshii)."
